  • Asian unit: Chinese scrolls - great for upper primary.
    • Steps
      • Dye wash whole sheet - allow to dry.
      • Stick on the white circle cut out at the top.
      • Use a cotton bud to dab the black dye.
      • Use the straw to blow the black dye up the page to make a tree. Dry.
      • Use a cotton bud to make the flowers if desired.
      • Hang from the top with string. 
  • Shape Art - works best with middle primary. 
    • Steps
      • Have shape templates already cut out.
      • Advise students to create a picture using the shapes and a black texta.
      • Using oil pastels colour in the shapes, leaving some white spaces.
      • Dye wash over the top.
      • Allow to dry. 
    • Shape art completed whilst on PE3 - Dominic College.
      
Recycled Art:
  • Under the sea (Visual art)
    • Materials: Old CD's, Animal cut out (turtle, sea horse, crab), Felt squares, glue, gobble eyes. 
  • Puppet Play Book by Dianna Schoebrun - Use recycled materials to create puppets.
